For AEC presentations, we categorise the content into two broad sections for easier understanding of our users. Depending on context, hardware and stage of project, users can choose to work with one or both types of content.
360 renders and 3D models
Panoramic and stereoscopic images can be exported from major modeling and rendering softwares and used for VR presentations. Here's a list of these softwares and tutorials:
What types of 360 renders are supported ?
360 render format can vary depending on software types. We support the whole range of formats:
- Spherical o panoramic ( 2:1 )
- Stereo spherical o panoramic ( 4:1 )
- Cubemap ( 6:1 )
- Stereo cubemap ( 12:1 )
Apart from 360 rendering, it is possible to "walk" inside a 3D model using VR devices. For making deep analysis of the design, understanding spatial structure & scale, this can be a useful tool.
Currently, we support direct upload of Sketchup models only for viewing in VR
